On Tuesday morning, alarming reports spread across social media claiming that veteran actor Dharmendra had passed away while admitted at the Breach Candy Hospital. These rumors even seemed to gain credibility after a tweet allegedly posted by Rajnath Singh.
However, his daughter Esha Deol stepped in to set the record straight. She confirmed that her father is in fact stable and well on the mend. She wrote, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for Papa’s speedy recovery.”
Earlier, a statement from Sunny Deol’s team had similarly clarified that Dharmendra was under observation and doing okay, urging people not to propagate unverified information and to respect the family’s need for privacy.
