Investment in knowledge pays the best interest - Latest News & Independent Unbiased News Analysis

Benjamin Franklin once said “An investment in education pays the better interest”, a quote that has proved to be the main key to success. The investment we make in ourselves will always pay off in the end. Knowledge is needed in every aspect of our lives. It helps to make good decisions taking better care of our health and wealth. Every successful person in the world has realized this thing and showed us the value of constantly educating oneself in daily life.

Once, during the 50s, the author of The Millionaire Next Door, Dr. Thomas Stanley conducted a survey, and the evidence speaks that investing education on children rather than giving them financial handouts pays off better investment in the long run and their future. He collected a group of educated professionals and split them into two groups, those who received financial help from their parents and those who hadn’t. No surprise in the fact that, those who have received money accumulated less wealth and are 50% less wealthy than their peers who hadn’t received such. He discerned “The more dollars children receive, the fewer dollars they accumulate, while those who are given fewer dollars accumulate more.”

Also, quotes from many successful and wise individuals give us the same message, that all we have to do is keep acquiring knowledge and improving our skills. Albert Einstein said, “Once you stop learning, you start dying.” Many of us choose the normal flow of life and consider graduation or a certain degree as the edge of our education and get a career and go with the flow until retirement. Jim Rohn the great self-development speaker said, “Formal education will make you a living. Self-education will make you a fortune”. That is schooling is just a small part of our life education.

So these are a few steps we can follow from today that can bring us a major change in our lives.

•          Reading time of at least 30 minutes regularly. It can be a book, blog, biographies, etc.

•          Study and know about other successful people and inspiring their stories and set a   goal.

•          Listen to podcasts, interviews, and any informative videos that can guide and improve us.

In a nutshell, knowledge is what separates us from the cluster. Also, keep in mind you have to put it in action if you want to go high with it. Make a perfect plan and a strategy, and use everything to learn, invest, and broaden your horizon in the field of knowledge.
