Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Design and develop new programs, analyze current programs and processes, and make recommendations which yield a more cost effective product.
Write, edit, and debug programs for the assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output.
Implement best practices in software development, such as documenting code, and other practices necessary for delivering sustainable and working software.
Make presentations for customer or client audiences or peers.
Troubleshoot and identify bugs in existing software, design and release fixes.
Collaborate with project team members throughout the entire software development life cycle, in understanding customer needs and creation of product requirement.
Responsible for quality and timeliness of assigned workload to agreed timelines, standards, and defined requirements.
Provide feedback to analysis/ training staff about performance considerations/ usability issues concerning software specifications and implementation.
Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management.
Knowledge, Skills, Other Abilities:
Good understanding of software technologies
Good understanding of object-oriented approach
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
Strong analytical and logical skills to address work-related problems
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely
Good understanding of networking/ distributed computing environment concepts.
Ability to “think outside the box”.
Ability to prepare reports and examine setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
Good knowledge of any database vendor versions.
Good knowledge of standard development tools.
Proficiency to use standard computing tools: word processor, spreadsheet, browser, email, and file compression software.
Self-motivated, team player, and result oriented
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under tight project timelines
Passion to excel
Should take ownership of the assignments delegated
Ability to simultaneously work with multiple stakeholders across the organization
Relevant Experience and Education:
5 to 7 years.
B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA with excellent academic record and should have relevant IT industry experience.
Certifications in different technologies will be preferred.
Exposure to travel domain development is preferred.
