Google Doodle enjoying Wilbur Scoville’s 151th Birthday, he taught us ‘spiciness’

Wilbur Scoville was the chemist who created the famous scoville test through which people can measure the heat level of a pepper.

Chillies can make you tear any time, and you wildly search for water whenever you bite it. Wilbur Scoville is the one who created a test to measure the heat level of pepper’s. The Doodle team thought his work was good and his Scoville Scale deserves some acknowledgment.

Hotness is defined as a mini fighting game in this doodle. It can test hotness level of every chilly in presence with a brief explanation of the pepper.

Wilbur Lincoln Scoville, he born on January 22nd, 1865 in Bridgeport Connecticut. He was the chemist,  a award-winning researcher, a professor of pharmacology and the second vice-chairman of the American Pharmaceutical Association. His book, The Art of Compounding, tells abot one of the earliest mentions of milk as an antidote for pepper heat.
