The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially released the player auction list for the upcoming TATA Indian Premier League 2026 mini auction, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on 16 December 2025.
After a large number of registrations, the final shortlist includes 350 players who will be available for selection by the ten IPL franchises on auction day. These players were chosen from a pool of 1,390 total registrations, making for a highly competitive lineup.

- Overseas players: 110
- Indian uncapped: 224
- Overseas uncapped: 14
- Capped Indians: 16
- Capped overseas: 96
Franchises are vying for 77 available squad spots, including 31 places reserved for overseas cricketers.
Base Price Tiers
Players have been categorized into several reserve price brackets (figures in lakhs of INR):
- ₹200 lakh: 40 players
- ₹150 lakh: 9 players
- ₹125 lakh: 4 players
- ₹100 lakh: 17 players
- ₹75 lakh: 42 players
- ₹50 lakh: 4 players
- ₹40 lakh: 7 players
- ₹30 lakh: 227 players
The highest reserve price remains at ₹2 crore, a mark that many marquee names have opted for as they prepare to go under the hammer.
The auction is set to begin at 1:00 PM UAE time (2:30 PM IST) and will determine how teams fill the remaining gaps in their squads ahead of the 2026 season.
