Dhulikhel is the administrative centre of Kavrepalan chowk District, Nepal. At the time of the 2010 Nepal census it had a population of 16,263 people in 3,291 households. Dhulikhel lies along the B.P. Highway and Arniko Highway.Being on the outer border of the Kathmandu Valley, Dhulikhel boasts fantastic views of the Himalayas. The spectacular snow capped mountains seen from Dhuklikhel must be one of the most spectacular views anywhere in the world. The vapor clouds that cover the lower portion of the mountains give the illusion of the mountain peaks floating in the air, like fairy tale castles in the sky. One just cannot stop looking at such a wonderful sight.
