When reporters asked about a definite time line, he said that, it will be put in place “very soon”.

A new penalty system with five slabs going from INR 1 lakh to INR 50 crore for violation of norms by mobile operators. New penalty system had approved by Telecom Commission in March 2014. But they are yet to be approved and activated officially. The next few years will be great for growth of mobile services motivated by quality.
